I am in the process of changing my business structure from sole trader to LTD company. Basically everything will be staying the same with the the exception of a slight business name change and a new GST number. All suppliers, bank account details etc are staying the same. In an ideal world I would be able just change the details on my MYOB Essentials account from the effective date and carry on so that bank feeds, rules etc won't need to be set up in a new subscription. I am unsure though if through MYOB it is possible (either automatically or manually) to view what transactions occured under the old GST number and the new GST number as it is part way through the year and I will need to get this right for tax purposes.
