Bank Feeds June 2016 New starter 2017 FY MYOB Essentials

Hi

I started using MYOB Essentials in July 2017.  At the end of June 2016 all transactions were entered in my old system.  On my dashboard its teling me I have unallocated transactions.  These transactions are from June 2016 which have already been recorded in the old system.  What do I do with them? Do I enter them as per normal but with prior financial year dates?
