I am reviewing a clients accounts for end of for end of 2017 fin year>
Regular direct bank payments to an employee were not adjusted to account for change in tax tables from October 2016. Consequently the payment was $12 less than the payroll transaction for the rest of the financial year. Payments dont equal payroll transactionsand cannot be directly matched. The payroll trasnactions do not appear when I try Match and the all transaction option instead of exact (WHY?) so I can't partially apply payment against and do a top up payment transaction for the difference.
Next idea was to redo the payroll transactions taxing out extra tax to match payment but there is no option in this version of MYOB to vary tax amount that I can see.
Suggestions please
