Our business is a small construction firm. I'm sure there are loads of small businesses that would need the feature I find is lacking in essentials.
When staff clock time worked they need to be able to allocate time to a customer and the time would sit in a pending invoice stage to be invoiced out by office staff when job completed.
Billable expenses related to the job also need to be coded to the customer. Both hours and expenses are being held against the customer ready to on charge. Surely simple.
Payroll will match hours worked and hours charged.
Bills paid relating to jobs will match materials/services used on a job
Customers with pending time or expenses to be charged out can be selected and then finalise charges as required and send to customer.
No lost revenue with missed hours not being on charged or expenses not passed onto customer.
Surely this is a simple requirement for many many business who operate a service type business.
Worked hours should match charged hours otherwise no profit made.
Materials used on a job also must be on charged or no profit made.
Please is there any chance a feature like this will be added to Essentials.
