Unable to Allocate Invoices for Payment Done

Hope someone can Help very urgently

I have paid a lumpsump amount for  multiple open invoice's to my customer, when I try an match to invoices it shows me this message and unable to save it. and icon changes to a RED round circle ...like a stop sign
