I've read some of the topics in regards to cashing out annual leave, but all seem centred around other programs, not Essentials.
We have an employee who would like to cash out some annual leave. I have looked at fairwork and am aware of the conditions.
I'm wondering how best to go about this using Essentials? Do I record the annual leave (and leave loading) as a separate pay run to the normal weeks' wages? Does it matter what dates I choose for the pay run (can I even process two pays for the same week)? Essentially, our employee will end up "working" 70 hours in the one week - 35 regular hours, plus 35 annual leave hours - is this the best way to do it?
Any guidance on whether leave accrues for this? I can't find information on this.
